The Sunset Riot is Las Vegas hard rock with Sunset Strip glam in its blood. Formed in July 2024, the band played its first show at the legendary Whisky a Go Go, has opened for L.A. Guns, Vixen and Aldo Nova, and was the featured artist at a Vegas Golden Knights game at T-Mobile Arena in 2026.
The Sunset Riot is hard rock with the volume up and the brakes off. Born on the Sunset Strip in July 2024 and fueled by Las Vegas neon, the band played its first show at the legendary Whisky a Go Go and has been tearing up stages ever since.
Frontman Michael J. Wistock sings with grit and heart. Dylan Dyce brings razor-edge riffs and soaring leads, Randy Renaud locks it down on bass, and Nathan Ball drives it all from behind the kit.
On the Strip, the Riot has opened for L.A. Guns at the Whisky on New Year’s Eve 2024 and 2025, played direct support for Vixen and supported Aldo Nova, celebrated the Rainbow Bar & Grill’s 53rd anniversary, played Three Clubs in Hollywood and joined the “Dear Los Angeles” wildfire benefit at the Whisky. SiriusXM’s Hair Nation name-checked the band on air, and Highwire Daze ran an interview and a live gallery.
Debut single “Ride Of Our Lives” set the tone: live loud, chase the night, never look back. “Red” turned raw devotion into a love song with teeth and lit up the T-Mobile Arena scoreboard when the Vegas Golden Knights made the band their featured artist. “Wild ’N Free” took it straight down the Vegas Strip. On Halloween the devil gets loose: “Devil On My Shoulder” is out 10.31.2026.
